Relaxing at a place with a novel (or an electric one in this case) and getting lost in its content is one of the many things I love to do. I get to exercise my brain, drink my usual drink, try a new drink, etc. It's something I've always loved doing since even before I could remember. Reading as a way of relaxing. When I was in the seventh grade, there was a period of time where I would spend every lunch period in the library reading a good book. When that phase ended, my friends were glad that I finally came out and breathed the fresh air. So I guess the question is, why do I like reading so much?
1. I LOVE a good story. I love being captivated into the imaginations of creative story-tellers. I love learning about our history as a nation and other nations, and the struggles they have faced to be where we and they at today. I love learning about God's people, and how we can learn from their successes through the power of God and their failures.
2. I LOVE learning. Whether it's about how to improve my relationship with the Lord to how I can improve my diet, I love learning it all.
3. It's a perfect activity for an introvert like me.
4. I learn new words.
I guess that's it for now. But I hope it gives you an idea of why someone like me has chosen to not only love God, but books as well. I guess it's who God made me to be. An introverted, book-loving, Daughter of the King
