3 days late, but oh well! I blogged about it, so that's all that matters :)
This past Saturday, was our first youth hangout day! My church recently started up the youth group again, and I'm so excited for what God's going to do in these group of young people! I know and strongly believe that God has some amazing things in store for them, and I'm just so honored/privileged/blessed to be able to help them in any way that I can.
But, moving on.
So the first thing we did was go to In-N-Out. That place is always so crowded no matter what location you go to. So Tara & were willing to share a table with a high-school girl and her grandma. Tara texts on her phone, and showed me what she wrote. 'We should invite them to church.' Right when she showed me that, I couldn't help but be so encouraged & blessed by her heart to reach out to them. To others in general actually. Tara ended up inviting them, and I just backed her up. Lol.
Afterwards, we went to watch "Megamind." Had a bathroom break back at church. Then went to San Jose Foursquare Church's worship night.
Their church invited our band, Hope Takes Flight, to play, as well as our youth group. However, stuff came up suddenly, so it was just me & Chris that ended up playing that night. But, even though it was just us two, I still felt really blessed because it's such a blessing being able to minister through music alongside other churches as well. It was just a constant and a gigantic reminder that the family of God isn't contained just in your church, but in other churches around the world as well. And just being able to hear other youth group glorify God through their talents, was also a great blessing because it just reminded of how good our God is. God is soo good that He gave us such great talents in order to glorify Him, to spread His kingdom to others who don't know Him, and to bless & minister to others as well. He's so creative :)
I just wanted to share about this day because I was just overwhelmingly blessed by the NHIC Youth Group, the rest of the family of God, and most importantly, God Himself. He is good!

RANDOM THOUGHT #9
I watched The Social Network recently and it was brilliant. That movie deserved every bit of the good reviews it received. When the movie ended, I was extremely pleased.
Now all I have to say about the movie is: I wish I could be an intense blogger like Mark Zuckerberg. :)

RANDOM THOUGHT #8
Here I am sitting in the De Anza library TRYING to study. I have a test in Macroeconomics this upcoming Tuesday and I should be studying. But yet, I'm not. A small part of me really knows and wants to study at this very moment. But most of my whole being longs for one thing right now. I simply and seriously cannot stop thinking about Jesus.
So many thoughts keep entering my mind. Wondering more about who God is. Longing to be alone with Him right now. Determined to love Him the best that I can. Determined to do what He has asked & called me to do. Wondering more about what the vision He has for me. Longing for Him to continually mold & shape me into the lover of His He wants me to be. Wondering how much He loves me, even though my mind will never fully understand the depth of His love for me. Even though there are times where I feel unworthy of His love, He chooses to keep loving me anyway. I'm so grateful for Him and His love. No thing and no one can ever compare to my First Love.
Random thoughts? No.
But these are merely the thoughts of my heart.
I honestly don't know where I'm going with all of this, but I'll end with one last thing.

RANDOM THOUGHT #7
I've shared about what God has been teaching me lately. But I've notice that I don't share more things about me. So I've decided to do so now :) Here are some facts about me in case you didn't know already:
- I have a twin brother. But we don't look ANYTHING alike.
- I hate shopping unless I really need something new.
- When I do feel like shopping, it's only for books.
- My favorite color is maroon, but my favorite color to wear is purple.
- My top 3 favorite movies are: Saving Private Ryan, The Little Mermaid, and Center Stage.
- It's easy to shop for me when Christmas and my birthday come. Just get me a book, or a giftcard to the movie theatres and bookstores :)
- I have a '96 Maxima that is named Peter.
- I'm an English major, and I plan on being a high school teacher.
- If I had extra time in the future, I would want to be a movie critic.
- I finally got my first dog this year. A rat terrier named Bear.
- I could stay in a bookstore and a library for hours.
- My favorite sport is dancing.
- My favorite hobby is reading.
- I love taking nature walks because it helps me think more clearly. Plus, I get to admire God's creation more.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH #7
This quote has been on my heart for the longest time:
"I’m here looking for one person. I love to see crowds burn, but I know that I can shape history if I can find just one. One person. You hear people say 'Oh, if we could get 1,000 people in unity and prayer over this matter, we’ll get it fixed.' Yeah, maybe. One prayer of faith will normally do it from one person. Anybody can burn in a crowd, I want to find somebody that will burn by themselves. Anyone can burn in a movement. I want to find the one person that will pray when there’s no prayer meeting called. But will get up in the middle of the night when there’s no crisis. The one person who gets their victories when no one is looking. Defeats their lion and their bear so that when they have their day before Goliath, there’s all the confidence in the world and it’s not arrogance."

SPIRITUAL GROWTH #6
Delayed disobedience is a sin. In other words, when God tells you to do something, and you don't do it right away, that is considered a sin as well. That totally whapped me in the head! I need to kick it up a notch. Thank You so much Lord for your revelations and Your reminders. I am and will always be forever grateful to You.
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it-he will be blessed in what he does."
- James 1:22-25
"Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins."
- James 4:17

RANDOM THOUGHT #6
Oh wow. It's been a year since I've last used this blog. To be honest, I have dearly missed using this. I think it's because I was more open in this one than my tumblr account. Lol. So I've decided that I will start using this blog more frequently.
Book recommendation!
Journal of the Unknown Prophet: Legacy to a Renegade Generation
I found this book in Roel's room one day when I was watching 'How I Met Your Mother.' Turns out that Roel is borrowing it from a friend of ours. But I read it anyways whenever I was in his room. Lol. But this book is so amazing. If you want to know and understand the heart of Jesus in a deeper way, you should totally read this book. It's a great word for our society and us Christians of today.
Personally, I was discouraged for a couple of days the other week, and the words in this book greatly encouraged me. It helped me walk in victory with Jesus more confidently because I had a greater revelation of His overwhelming love for me.
"For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
